Who I am:

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Wayne Hofmann, I am 38 years old; I am a Stone Mason and own H&H Masonry in New Preston, Ct. Over the last 5 years I’ve been dreaming of racing, and last year I decided to pursue that dream. The 2006 race season was my first in the driver’s seat of my Top Dragster. Since I’ve been around racing my entire life, to actually experience this was incredible. I have taken on a small crew to help me along the way and help me pursue my new dream of being a Top Dragster point’s champion in 2007 and many years to come.

Racing Background:

For 25 years I worked on a Nitro-Funny Car, which was owned and operated by Al Hofmann. My duties included, rebuilding the bottom end of our nitro engine, working on cranks, bearings, rod pistons, etc.

In the 1995 race season our crew made history when we were the first to enter the “4 second club”. In that same 1995 race season we were also one of the first cars to enter 300 mph in a nitro funny car.

In 2000, Al Hofmann retired from racing. Instead of continuing my racing career I decided to take some time off and start a family and my current business H&H Masonry.

In 2006, I decided it was my time to race, and Hofmann Racing was born. We used the 2006 race season to the fullest. Test and tune sessions were done every weekend of this race season to prepare The Hofmann Racing Team for the 2007 points season.

In 2007, Hofmann Racing will actively pursue the N.H.R.A. Division One Top Dragster title, as well as the I.H.R.A Top Dragster title.
 

ADVERTISING - SPONSORSHIP

In order to be competitive and successful in this sport, a fully organized financial plan is necessary. Hofmann racing is currently seeking support. Both full and associate sponsorships are welcome.

Although the Hofmann Race Team possesses a new rear-engine dragster, tow vehicle, trailer and numerous spare parts, your support is needed to help us be competitive in the N.H.R.A. and I.H.R.A top dragster races.

Support can consist of Direct Financing, discounted parts, tools, equipment, fuel, etc. Sponsorship can also include food, drink and ice. What is your establishment looking to advertise or promote?

We can open the eyes of our racing comrades to your business. Tell us, how we can help you advertise! 

• We are available for shows or displays, to attract attention to your business in a unique way.
   
• How about your name on the side of a Winning car? Or on a moving race trailer, traveling around the North East or as far as your sponsorship will take us?
